  • This week, Rikke Jacobsen, co-founder of AIDA User Group and CEO & partner at CogniTech A/S, attended a user group meeting at IBM’s new office in Nordhavn for their Cognos and Planning Analytics customers. The meeting covered exciting features such as ESG reporting and data-driven organization. The event also included a review of new product updates and customer case studies. Rikke expressed her pleasure in gathering customers for productive discussions on how to maximize the benefits of our products.
  • Heather L. Cole, co-founder of AIDA User Group and President and CFO of Lodestar Solutions, is helping our members with a free webinar titled “Achieving Financial Harmony and Strategic Success!” Join on March 28th. On that date, she will explore the critical role of financial executives in aligning short-term goals with long-term vision.
  • Jean-Georges Perrin, co-founder of AIDA User Group and chair of Bitol, announced that Soda was one of the first companies to take advantage of standardized data contracts. “Imagine this world where data producers and consumers agree on their delivery using Bitol’s ODCS. They can iteratively add data quality rules and SLAs. Observability tools will then guarantee these are met. The full lifecycle of the contract is traced to ensure governance and security. All that without being tied to a single vendor,” he said.

Bitol is a Linux Foundation AI & Data Sandbox project licensed under the Apache 2.0 license. As of now, it defines an open standard for data contracts called Open Data Contract Standard.
